Warranty and Disclaimers
Limited Warranty:
K9 Helm Corp’s warranty terms align with industry standards for various types of helmets and ballistic eyewear, which typically exclude breakage from impacts or misuse. We warrant our CS1-A2 GoggleHelms and EC1 Ear Covers against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase, when used under normal operational conditions. Note — bite training with human decoys and muzzle fighting are considered extreme activities, as they provide simulated human/dog combat, and subject the gear to severe mechanical stresses. Because it is often required that the dog perform this training while wearing the same gear with which it will be deployed, trainers and handlers must be prepared to put excessive wear and tear on the gear, including damaging the gear in the pursuit of the highest level of training. Each K9 Helm unit is hand-assembled and personally inspected by the company founder to ensure the highest quality. If a defect is found within 90 days, K9 Helm Corp will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective component or helmet, provided proof of purchase is submitted and the defect is not due to excluded conditions.

No Implied Warranties:
K9 Helm Corp makes no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond the express terms stated above. No warranty, express or implied, covers damage caused by impacts or misuse during training or other activities.
Definitions:
A GoggleHelm is technically a type of ballistic eyewear or face mask, as the shell and lens frame are one piece, made of the same material as the lens, with the same characteristics in regard to resisting penetration from projectiles. Ear Covers are rigid shells that, when installed onto a GoggleHelm, complete the cranial shell, turning the assembly into a kind of helmet.
Replaceable Components:
CS1-A2 GoggleHelms feature replaceable polycarbonate shells and lenses, designed to exceed U.S. military ballistic eyewear specifications (MIL-PRF-31013 and MIL-V-43511C). Affordable replacement shells are available, allowing you to restore your unit’s performance without having to purchase a new unit. We recommend inspecting your gear after each training session and replacing damaged lenses and shells to maintain optimal safety.

Limitation of Liability:
K9 Helm Corp is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products, including but not limited to injuries or property damage. Always inspect your K9 Helm gear before use and replace damaged components to ensure your dog’s safety. Because there are no standardized laboratory safety testing guidelines for impact protection specific to canine cranial anatomy, K9 Helm Corp makes no claims regarding our product’s ability to offer protection from concussions or other impact related brain injuries.
